On Wednesday 4 March 2026, the Connections Conference and Meeting Facilities at Junior College were officially inaugurated by the Hon. Clifton Grima, Minister for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation.
Located in Block A, the Connections Conference and Meeting Facilities provide a modern, fully accessible venue designed to support a wide range of academic and professional activities, including conferences, seminars, meetings, and workshops. Regularly utilised by Junior College students, staff, and external organisations, the spaces offer a professional and adaptable environment equipped with contemporary audiovisual technology, flexible seating arrangements, and catering amenities.
Originally an academic block comprising classrooms, the building was refurbished and transformed into Connections through an investment of approximately €54,000 in materials, furnishings, and equipment (excluding workmanship). The project placed strong emphasis on accessibility, ensuring comfortable and inclusive use by persons with mobility impairments, and reflects Junior College’s ongoing commitment to quality, inclusivity, and community engagement.
The inauguration ceremony was followed by a Q&A session in Room A301 entitled °ì±ð±ô³¾³Ù±ðÂá²Ô°³Ü±ô±ô±ðġġ, during which Junior College students engaged in an open discussion with the Minister. The event marked an important milestone in the College’s continued efforts to enhance its facilities and provide dynamic spaces that foster dialogue, collaboration, and innovation.
