Students from the Junior College achieved outstanding success in the 鈥(Re)-Visiting the Mediterranean鈥 Creative Writing Competition organised by the Department of English at the University of Malta, winning all the prizes awarded in the competition.
1st Place 鈥 Eva Di Battista (English Advanced 6A)
2nd Place 鈥 Jade Callus (Maltese Advanced)
3rd Place 鈥 Raquel Micallef (English Advanced 5A)
This exceptional achievement reflects the creativity, talent, and dedication of JC language students, who excelled in a highly prestigious competition centered around Mediterranean themes and storytelling.
The Award Ceremony was held on 6 June 2026, and the winning entries will also be considered for publication in Antae: A Journal of Creative Writing published by the University of Malta.
