On 16 April 2026, a group of 25 Junior College marketing students went on a  very informative company visit at Alf. Mizzi and Sons (AMSM) headquarters and warehouses in Marsa. AMSM sponsor our annual Open Day event. Students studying marketing got the opportunity to tour the premises, getting a glimpse of what marketing fast moving consumer goods, looks like in practice. The students were accompanied by three lecturers from the Department of Marketing - the Head of Department, Ms Theresa Hoban, Mr Tonio Darmanin, and Mr Gerald Grech, who coordinates the Marketing in Practice Enrichment Programme Unit.
