Prof. Paul Pace and Dr Jane Spiteri return to with Mill-Kampus għall-Komunità, a natural follow-up to last year’s successful series, Sostenibbiltà: RiÄ‹erka u Esperjenzi Lokali. The new programme continues to build bridges between university research and community-based action, showcasing initiatives linked to the Sustainable Development Goals and emerging from student projects and academic collaborations.

Paul, a leading figure in Education for Sustainable Development, is a Professor of Environmental Education and founder of the Centre for Environmental Education and Research at the University of Malta. He brings extensive experience in producing environmental and science education content for radio and television. His long-standing involvement in national and international sustainability initiatives reinforces the programme’s educational and societal relevance.

Jane is a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood and Primary Education whose research focuses on Education for Sustainable Development, outdoor learning, climate change education and young children’s climate emotions. Her work seeks to bridge research, policy and practice in early childhood education.

Each episode brings together academics, practitioners and community partners to discuss innovative sustainability initiatives, making university research accessible, relevant and meaningful to the wider public. Through engaging conversations, Mill-Kampus għall-Komunità continues to strengthen the connection between the University of Malta and the wider community.
