New Collective Agreement for Academic Staff at the University of Malta

Following lengthy negotiations, the (½ñÈÕºÚÁÏASA) is pleased to announce that a new Collective Agreement has been signed between the University of Malta and ½ñÈÕºÚÁÏASA, which will see academic staff benefit from significant increases in salaries, allowances and resources, as well as other improved conditions of work and standards.

Prof. Luciano Mule Stagno, ½ñÈÕºÚÁÏASA President, commented that “The University of Malta is the leading higher education institution in Malta and this new agreement recognises the professionalism of its academic staff, as well as their contribution in teaching, research and outreach in different areas of expertise.”  

The new Collective Agreement was approved by an overwhelming majority of ½ñÈÕºÚÁÏASA members and will remain in force until 2029.
