The Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Mobility visit of Dr Vipul Gupta, Professor at LM Thapar School of Management, Punjab, India, to the University of Malta was a highly enriching academic and cultural experience that significantly broadened his global academic perspective. The mobility provided a valuable platform to engage with faculty members, researchers, and university leadership, facilitating the exchange of best practices in teaching, research, internationalisation, and university governance.
A particularly memorable highlight of the visit was the installation ceremony of Prof. Frank Bezzina, the newly elected Rector of the University of Malta. Witnessing this prestigious occasion offered a unique insight into the University's rich traditions, leadership ethos, and governance practices, making it an unforgettable milestone of the mobility programme.
The visit also included productive interactions with faculty members and students from the Faculty of ICT, where discussions focused on interdisciplinary research, digital innovation, and emerging areas of collaboration. These engagements laid a strong foundation for developing joint research initiatives, collaborative project proposals, staff and student exchange opportunities, and curriculum development. The Erasmus+ mobility has further strengthened the academic partnership between the University of Malta and LM Thapar School of Management, paving the way for sustained international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
