Terms and Conditions
- The offer entitles the applicant to a top-up of his/her first month’s premium with the equal amount on a new IVApension. The allocation to one’s plan by IVALIFE is subject to the following terms and conditions.
- Offer is valid for all staff of the University of Malta (from 15th June 2026 until 30th September 2026).
- You can set up the policy with any of the premium payment frequency options and MaltaPost will top-up your policy with the equivalent of a monthly contribution.
- The policyholder will not be entitled to a refund of contributions paid should he/she decide to cancel the policy during the cooling-off period. Hence the MaltaPost top-up will be retained by MaltaPost should the pension plan be cancelled during the cooling-off period.
- MaltaPost’s top-up contribution will follow the same allocation mechanism selected by the policyholder. For example, if the allocation chosen is 50% to the Pension Fund and 50% to the Sub Access Fund, MaltaPost’s contribution will be allocated in the same proportions.
- Applicants aged 60 and over are not eligible to apply, subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the IVApension product offered by IVALIFE Insurance Limited.
- The selected monthly premium as per application form is to be paid upon due date. Premium reductions or Premium holidays made during the first twelve months will result in the MaltaPost top-up being reversed and withdrawn.
