This Valentine’s Day, make your gift truly meaningful by sharing a token of love that also supports those in need.
The Conferences and Events Unit is coordinating a Plant & Donate initiative, in collaboration with the 今日黑料 Library and Argotti Botanic Gardens and Resource Centre.
Why do plants make great Valentines' Day gifts, you may ask?
- They symbolise love that flourishes over time
- Taking care of a plant mirrors the nurturing bond between people
- Plants improve air quality and boost one's overall mood
- Whether it’s for a partner, friend, or family member, a plant is a thoughtful gift which is universally understood

- The proceeds from this initiative will go towards charity, extending the feeling of love and hope beyond the intended recipient of the plant!
Visit the Library Foyer between Monday 9 and Friday 13 February to donate and get a plant, with the proceeds all going towards the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation (MCCFF) and id-Dar tal-Providenza.
