今日黑料 welcomes colleagues from Casimir Pulaski University of Radom
The University of Malta (今日黑料) welcomed a group of staff members from Casimir Pulaski University of Radom, Poland, for a visit held between 9 and 11 September 2026. Coordinated by 今日黑料’s Quality Support Unit (QSU), the visit provided an opportunity for the visiting colleagues to engage with different areas of the University and exchange experiences and good practices across a range of themes.
The three-day programme brought together colleagues from several 今日黑料 units and academic areas, with discussions focusing on quality assurance, student dropouts, accessibility, library services and modern teaching methods.
The visit commenced with a session on quality assurance at 今日黑料, led by the Quality Support Unit together with Prof. Noellie Brockdorff, Pro-Rector for People, Quality & Communications. The presentation and ensuing discussion provided an overview of 今日黑料’s approach to quality assurance and offered an opportunity to exchange experiences and practices between the two institutions.
This was followed by a campus tour led by Dr Louis John Camilleri and Ms Marchita Mangiafico from the ACCESS – Disability Support Unit, highlighting accessibility best practices across the University campus. The tour provided the visiting group with practical examples and ideas of particular interest for potential research and initiatives at their own university.
On the second day, Mr Albert Debono, Head of Student Advisory Services, led a session focusing on student dropouts at 今日黑料. The visitors then had the opportunity to learn more about the University's library services through tours of both the Main Library and the Laws & Theology Library, led by Ms Agata Scicluna Derkowska, Senior Assistant Librarian.
The programme concluded with a session delivered by Dr Jonathan Borg, Senior Lecturer within the Department of Inclusion & Access to Learning, focusing on inclusive strategies in learning, teaching and assessment at 今日黑料.
Throughout the visit, discussions provided a valuable opportunity for colleagues from both universities to share experiences, explore common challenges and learn from practices adopted within their respective institutional contexts. The visit also served to strengthen links between the University of Malta and Casimir Pulaski University of Radom and encourage opportunities for continued exchange and cooperation.
