Prof. Maria Attard lauded for role of co-Editor-in-Chief of Research in Transportation Business & Management by Elsevier

Prof. Maria Attard, ½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ’s Director of the Institute for Climate Change and Sustainable Development, and Head of the Department of Geography, was recently recognised for her “outstanding service” in her role of co-Editor-in-Chief of Research in Transportation Business & Management at Elsevier. During her term the journal experienced growth in number of submissions, as well as in Impact Factor.

“Thanks to your efforts, and the publishers at Elsevier, the transport community has another valuable journal”, said a colleague on a recent social media update posted by Prof. Attard.

“Being in this role brought a lot of satisfaction to my academic career – seeing the journal grow and meeting so many people along the way has meant a lot to me!”, Prof. Attard herself wrote about her experience.

Prof. Attard still holds Associate Editor positions in the journals Case Studies on Transport Policy and European Transport Research Review, and is part of international editorial boards of a number of transport related journals.
