Accreditation awarded to 46 educators in financial capability education

A certificate presentation ceremony was held on 16 June 2026 at HSBC Qormi to recognise educators who successfully completed the micro-credential Financial Capability and Entrepreneurship: A Development Programme for Educators (LAS1100), offered by the Centre for the Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS).

Now offered for the second consecutive year, the micro-credential is delivered in collaboration with the . Launched in April 2025 by , the , and the , the Centre provides training and resources to help educators foster financial awareness and entrepreneurial thinking among students.

Forty-six educators were awarded certificates during the event, which forms part of a wider initiative promoting financial literacy and entrepreneurial education in schools. The programme equips educators with the skills to integrate financial capability across a range of subjects.

The ceremony was presided over by Professor David Mifsud, Director of CLAS, and attended by representatives from the Ministry, the , and the .
