Applications open: 2027 EUROfusion Engineering Grants
has announced that applications for its 2027 Engineering Grants programme, supporting the education and development of a new generation of fusion engineers, are now open.
These 2-year grants are aimed at young engineers with a Master and/or PhD degree working in or entering the EUROfusion programme.
Around 14 grants are expected to be awarded. These grants, based on excellence, support career development in core fusion competencies. Eligible applicants must have completed their MSc between 1 June 2020, and 15 September 2026; candidates may also complete their PhD during the grant term.
General Assembly members are to submit applications via the EUROfusion IMS platform by 17 July 2026, at 23:59 CEST. Online interviews for shortlisted candidates will be conducted between 12 and 30 October 2026.
