The latest issue of Postcolonial Directions in Education, Vol. 10 No 1, has just been published (in July 2021).
This bi-annual peer reviewed journal, published by the Faculty of Education at ½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ, is open source and has an international advisory board including some of the leading scholars in Postcolonial Studies and Education.
It is a miscellaneous issue featuring articles by Gayatri Spivak and co-researchers, Nahla Abdo (tribute to the recently departed Nawal El Saadawi), Handel Kashope Wright and Yao Xiao, Pam Christie, Mariateresa Muraca, Dip Kapoor and Hasriadi Masalam and Pierre Orelus.
Co-editor Prof. Peter Mayo pens a review of Rebecca Tarlau's 2019 book on the MST.
Issue number 2 for this year, to be published in December, will be a special one celebrating the centenary of Paulo Freire's birth and will include articles by Henry Giroux and Antonia Darder among others.
