, Affiliate Senior Lecturer at the , at University of Malta, recently attended the 4th World Conference on Physics Education (WCPE). The conference took place in Krakow, Poland between 26 - 30 August 2024. The theme of the conference was ‘Embracing Changes Together’.

Dr Borg Marks was invited by the Italian Physics Learning Society to act as one of the Leaders at a Workshop on Physics Education, entitled: ' School-University Collaboration and Teachers' Professional Development’.

She presented an introduction to the workshop, entitled: ‘An Overview of the Outcomes of the GIREP Malta Webinars 2020 and 2021’. Dr Borg Marks also acted as Discussant for the section of the workshop related to Laboratory Use and Digital Technology.

Furthermore, Dr Borg Marks organised another session during this conference, where she worked with three other colleagues namely, Prof. Eilish McLoughlin from Dublin City University (DCU), Prof. Federico Corni from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and Dr David Sands, Independent Researcher UK.

Each presenter referred to work covered through the Malta Webinars and also added specific and personal teaching and learning experiences/reflections related to what more has been done in the line of Physics Education since 2020 and 2021.
