Fourteen students following courses at the Faculty of Media & Knowledge Sciences were recently awarded for their individual academic excellence at the latest edition of the Dean鈥檚 Awards.
Seven individuals are in the Bachelor Programme, Six in the Master Programmes (Taught and By Research), and one in the Post-Doctoral Programme.
Pro-Rector for Students & Staff Affairs and Outreach, Prof. Carmen Sammut, as well as several members of the academic staff from across the Faculty were present for the ceremony.
Prof. Sammut called the occasion 鈥渁 lovely opportunity to showcase our students鈥 achievements鈥.
鈥淲hat I learned about my studies at university was that I had to work for the end goal, however I quickly came to realise that it was more about the journey which I shared with wonderful and interesting lecturers and very helpful and lovely staff, as well as the special friends I made along the way鈥, said Daniela, one of the awardees.
