| Abstract: | In regulating Civil Partnerships the Maltese legislator certainly did not intend conferring on them legal personality. This can be concluded by reference to Italian law of the same period i.e. the Civil Code of 1865, and by analogy from a consideration of the historical aspects of the question in the case of commercial partnerships. |
