Abstract: The specific object of the marriage contract is that of establishing the patrimonial or property regime which is to govern the relations between husband and wife. It is favourably looked upon by positive law, which grants to the parties the liberty to regulate their relations in the way which is more convenient to them and dispenses them from certain legal conditions.
