Abstract: Context: The exocoelomic cavity plays an important role as a fetal biological reservoir and materno-fetal exchange interface during the fi rst trimester of human pregnancy.
Objective: We investigated the effect of coelomic fl uid on total production of cytokines and their receptors in normal fi rst trimester human placenta cultured at different concentrations of oxygen.
