| DESCRIPTION | Our time is characterised by fragmentation, resulting in people becoming alienated from decision-making processes. One possible explanation is that society is increasingly organised according to neoliberal economic principles, where self-interest is prioritised over the common good. This development represents a democratic problem. Reconnecting society and organisations involves developing relationships between people and between humans and nature. On a deeper level, dialogue creates and maintains relationships that are essential for vibrant communities. Through dialogue different voices and perspectives contribute to the development of individual and collective potential. By developing theoretical and practical knowledge of various dialogue methods and communication approaches, the foundation is laid for the development of organisations and societies characterised by participatory democracy without dominant hierarchies.
