| DESCRIPTION | The purpose of the study-unit is to provide an overview of core issues of shipping law. It will include an overview of the various trade terms adopted in international contracts for the sale of goods and consider their relationship with other international contracts. Other key aspects to be discussed include: the registration of vessels; liability and claims and salvage, towage and pilotage. Reading List: A reading pack will be provided to students. |
