DESCRIPTION A dissertation in Teaching Ethics in Schools is generally expected to give the learners the opportunity to specialise further through research in their field of studies. Ethics is a new subject in schools and local research is practically non-existent in this field. This module gives the students the opportunity to apply in practice what they learned in the Research Methodology module, as well as develop their own theories based on practice through research in the field. It develops the students’ capacity to analyse, evaluate and theorize practice as well as present one’s finding in written form, developing their report writing skills. The length of the dissertation is not less than 20,000 but not more than 30,000 words.
