The Coastal Protection and Sustainability Blended Intensive Programme offers a multidisciplinary approach to understanding the challenges facing coastal environments in the context of climate change, urbanisation, and human-induced landscape transformation.
Participants will explore sustainable strategies for mitigating natural hazards such as coastal erosion, flooding, and landslides, with a particular focus on environmentally responsible interventions in vulnerable coastal areas. The programme combines online lectures, interactive group work, and field excursions to encourage critical thinking and innovative approaches to sustainable coastal management.
Application and Selection Process:
Interested students must submit their application through the by 24th July 2026.

This mobility is eligible for Erasmus+ funding. Students should contact the Erasmus+ Office at the University of Malta for information regarding funding and grant procedures.
Important Note:
Students must apply through the University of Malta's internal application process. Applications submitted directly to the host institution will not be considered.
