It uses innovative teaching and learning methods and aims to strengthen the capacity of higher education institutions to develop and implement new educational practices. Nord University, in collaboration with the University of Brest (UBO), the University of Cádiz (UCA) and the University of Gda艅sk (UG), invites doctoral and MPhil students from SEA-EU partner universities to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Teaching and Learning in Higher Education for PhD Students: A European Perspective” in Spring 2027.
The programme aims to strengthen participants’ pedagogical competencies and confidence in teaching in higher education. Through online preparatory sessions and an intensive week at Nord University in Bodø, Norway, participants will explore university pedagogy, student-active teaching, and presentation and communication skills. The programme includes interactive workshops, micro-teaching, collaborative activities and poster presentations.
This opportunity is open to University of Malta PhD and MPhil students across all disciplines.
Previous teaching experience is not a prerequisite.
Applicants must have a minimum English proficiency level of B2.
Preference will be given to students who have not benefited from Erasmus+ mobility during their current cycle of study.

The University of Nord, in collaboration with the University of Cádiz (UCA) and the University of Udine, invites students from SEA-EU partner universities to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Leaders for Digital and Sustainable Futures: Gaining Experience in Arctic Norway” in Spring 2027.
The programme explores leadership in digitalisation and sustainability through an online learning component and an international mobility week in Arctic Norway.
Online component: 12 April – 14 May 2027
Physical mobility week: 14–18 June 2027
