Maker Faire Malta is an international celebration of creativity, innovation and making, bringing together makers, innovators, artists, scientists, educators, entrepreneurs and DIY enthusiasts for three days of ideas, discovery and hands-on experiences.

Forming part of Esplora’s 10th anniversary celebrations, the event will provide a platform for participants to showcase their creations, exchange ideas and engage with the public. Maker Faires bring together people from a wide range of fields to demonstrate how science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics can be used to turn ideas into reality.

Visitors to Maker Faire Malta can explore projects, demonstrations and interactive experiences covering areas such as robotics, digital fabrication, arts and crafts, sustainability, science experiments and emerging technologies.

The Faire will open on Friday, 2 October, with a programme dedicated to schools and educators in the morning. It will then continue on Friday afternoon, Saturday, 3 October, and Sunday, 4 October, welcoming families and the general public.

Through its programme, Maker Faire Malta aims to encourage curiosity, creativity and collaboration, while highlighting the importance of developing future skills and inspiring the next generation of makers.
