The University of Malta’s Centre for Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) recently held two certificate presentation ceremonies at Sir Temi Zammit Hall and the University of Malta’s Gozo Campus, celebrating the successful completion of micro-credentials by more than 300 students during the 2025/26 academic year.
The Gozo ceremony was organised as part of the collaboration between CLAS and the management of the Gozo Campus, providing local students with accessible and flexible opportunities for lifelong learning. Certificates were presented by Prof. Philip von Brockdorff, Rector’s Delegate for Gozo, who congratulated the students and encouraged them to pursue further educational opportunities.
At Sir Temi Zammit Hall, certificates were presented by Prof. Leonie Baldacchino, Pro-Rector for Internationalisation, Enterprise and Outreach and Chairperson of the CLAS Board, alongside Prof. David Mifsud, Director of CLAS. They congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to continue investing in their personal and professional development.
CLAS micro-credentials cover a wide range of academic, cultural and professional subjects, enabling learners to acquire new knowledge and enhance their skills. These micro-credentials promote flexible and accessible continuing education, catering to individuals at different stages of their lives and careers.
The ceremonies recognised the students’ commitment and dedication while celebrating their achievements alongside representatives from CLAS and the University of Malta’s Gozo Campus. CLAS congratulated all students and wished them success in their future academic, professional and personal endeavours.
