Drawing on the insights of Virginia Woolf and Doris Lessing, Morska critiques the modern tendency to treat distant violence as a "video game" and warns against the "euphoric lie" of militaristic rhetoric. She concludes that the writer鈥檚 role is to act as a global conscience, "thinking peace into existence" and resisting the language of destruction through reflective, humane prose.
